About the blog
Cyber privacy
Cyber privacy, refers to the appropriate and secure use of user’s data, mainly personal information.
User’s are concerned about who has their information, what they are doing with it, and who they are sharing it with.
Your phone, car and many other connected devices track you; what’s the harm? Once a luxury, now a connected default, we live in a world where companies and governments can know where we are at all times and where we’ve been, as long as we allow the collection and access to that data.
The right not to be subjected to unsanctioned invasions of privacy by the government, corporations, or individuals is part of many countries’ privacy laws, and in some cases, constitutions.
Cyber security
Cyber security is the practice of defending computers, servers, mobile devices, electronic systems, networks, and data from malicious attacks.
Cyber security is closely linked to cyber privacy, but focus more on the CIA triad (Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability).
